Since ScriptureSearch operates offline-first:

- Your Bible translations and study materials are downloaded to your device for offline access.
- Any data you enter into the app (notes, highlights, bookmarks) remains on your device only.
Third-Party Services
ScriptureSearch may use the following third-party services:
- Google Play Services: For app distribution and updates.
- Firebase (optional): If enabled, Firebase may collect anonymous analytics data. You can disable analytics in the app settings.
- Text-to-Speech Services: If you use the audio Bible feature, your device's built-in text-to-speech engine may process text locally.
Permissions
ScriptureSearch may request the following permissions:
- Storage/Media: To download Bible translations for offline reading.
- Internet (optional): Only if you choose to enable cloud sync or download additional content.
All permissions are optional and can be denied without affecting core app functionality.
