Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Daycare Dons: Diaper Empire app ("Daycare Dons", "the game") uses, why, and the choices you have. Daycare Dons is published on Google Play by Hartmann Studios ("we", "us"). If you have questions, open an issue on GitHub.
The short version: Daycare Dons is an offline game. There is no account, and your progress and settings are stored only on your phone. The game contains no analytics SDK and we run no servers that receive data from it. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which may collect device information such as your advertising ID. The optional purchases (Remove Ads and the Daycare VIP subscription) go through Google Play; we never see your card details.
What is stored on your phone
- Your game progress (story missions completed, stars, rank, cookies, rep, Golden Pacifiers found, unlocked ride-ons) and your settings (music, sound and voice volume, subtitles, look speed, graphics) are saved in the app's own storage on your phone (Unity PlayerPrefs).
- Whether you bought Remove Ads or have an active Daycare VIP subscription is also remembered on your phone, so the game knows not to show the banner and between-mission ads and can grant the VIP extras.
- Other apps cannot read the app's private storage. We do not receive any of it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads from Google AdMob: one banner on the title screen (never during play), an occasional full-screen ad between missions (never during a mission or a story scene), and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch, for example to double the cookies from a mission. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address (which can indicate approximate, coarse location), device model, operating system and app information;
- ad interactions (for example, ad views and taps) and diagnostic data about ad performance.
Google uses this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices: where required (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the game shows Google's consent message (User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with Settings → Privacy options in the game, which opens that message again. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices: Settings → Google → Ads), and manage ad personalization at My Ad Center. Buying Remove Ads turns off the banner and the between-mission ads; optional rewarded ads stay available if you want them.
Purchases (Google Play Billing)
The purchases in the game are optional and sold through Google Play Billing: the one-time Remove Ads, and the Daycare VIP subscription (monthly or yearly). Google processes your payment; we never receive your card number or billing details. Google provides the game with the purchase status (such as which item was bought and a purchase token) so the game can unlock it on your phone and restore it later; for a subscription this includes whether it is currently active. What we do not collect
- We do not require or create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
- The game contains no analytics SDK, and we run no servers that receive data from it.
- The game is single-player and offline; there is no online play and no chat.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Support requests
Support is handled through GitHub Issues. Issues are public and hosted by GitHub under the GitHub privacy statement, so please don't include personal information or purchase details in an issue. We use what you post only to answer it, and you can ask us to delete an issue you opened.
This website
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and its fonts are served from the same site. GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address when you visit, as described in its privacy statement.
Security
Your progress stays in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Communication between the game and Google's ad and billing services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Please keep your phone protected with a screen lock.
Data retention and deletion
- Your progress and settings stay on your phone until you delete them.
- Tap NEW GAME on the title screen to wipe your story progress and start over, or uninstall the app to delete everything the game stored. You can also clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Daycare Dons → Storage → Clear storage.
- Because we never receive your game data, there is nothing on our side to delete. The Remove Ads purchase and the Daycare VIP subscription stay tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after you reinstall. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained by Google under its own policies.

Children
Daycare Dons is rated for teens (mild cartoon mischief: toy water pistols, splashes and time-outs) and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, open an issue on GitHub (without posting the information itself) and we will help.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
