By downloading, installing, or using NutriSnap (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
NutriSnap is a calorie-tracking mobile application that uses on-device artificial intelligence to estimate nutritional information from photographs of food. The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
NutriSnap is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All nutritional estimates are generated by an AI model and may be inaccurate. You should always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any dietary decisions. The calorie, macro, and other nutritional estimates provided by the App are approximations and should not be relied upon for medical purposes.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data. In short: all data is processed on-device, and no photos or personal information leave your device except for the optional one-time download of the AI model.
NutriSnap offers an optional Premium subscription through Google Play that unlocks unlimited AI scans. Subscription prices and billing periods are shown in the App before purchase. Google Play handles payment processing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and payment information according to your Google Play account settings and Google Play policies.

The App, including but not limited to its code, design, branding (including the Pip mascot), and AI model, is owned by Charles Hartmann unless otherwise noted. The Gemma 4 AI model is subject to the Gemma License Agreement. The open-source libraries used in the App are licensed under their respective licenses (Apache 2.0, MIT, etc.).
NutriSnap uses the following open-source components:
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT THE NUTRITIONAL ESTIMATES PROVIDED ARE ACCURATE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHARLES HARTMANN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR HEALTH-RELATED DECISIONS MADE BASED ON AI ESTIMATES.
These terms remain effective until terminated. You may terminate them at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing use. We may terminate these terms if you fail to comply with any provision.
We may revise these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
