Frequently asked
Is my pet gone if I miss a few days?
No — never. Pets may get a little hungry or sleepy, but they recover with one kind action. Progress is never erased for taking a break.
How do I back up my pet to a new phone?
Open Pocket Kin → Settings → Connect cloud saves, then Back up this pet. On your new phone, sign in with the same account and choose Restore cloud save. If both devices have different saves, the game asks you which one to keep — it never silently overwrites.
Steps aren't counting in Walk Together.
Check that the step permission is granted (Settings → Apps → Pocket Kin → Permissions → Physical activity / Health Connect). If your phone has no step sensor, use Health Connect as the source. You can revoke access anytime; the game stays fully playable.
How do I restore a purchase?
Settings → Restore cosmetic purchases (asks a grown-up first). Purchases are permanent and re-attach to your account after server verification.
How do I delete my cloud account?
Settings → Delete cloud account (asks a grown-up first). This removes the cloud save and account data from our servers. Your on-device pet remains, and purchases can be restored later via Google Play.
Why does the watch app say "offline"?
The companion syncs over Bluetooth when the phone is nearby, and over your home network otherwise. Open the phone app once after installing the watch app. Cached info stays visible while offline.
