Delete your data
Symptom Diary keeps your data on your phone. Here is how to delete it, and what happens to purchases.
Delete inside the app
Open an episode and choose Delete, or Settings → Delete all data. Settings → Clear health data removes the cached Health Connect copy; revoke the permission in Health Connect to stop reads.
Cloud backup
Settings → Delete cloud backup removes your backup from the service (only if you had turned backup on).
Exported PDFs
PDFs you shared or saved are yours to delete where you put them.
Delete everything
Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Symptom Diary → Storage → Clear storage. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing on our side to delete.
Pro subscription
The subscription is tied to your Google Play account, not to the app's data. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. After reinstalling, Settings → Restore purchases brings Pro back while the subscription is active.
Data held by Google
Data collected by Google AdMob and Google Play Billing is retained by Google under its own policies; you can manage ad settings in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads and at My Ad Center.
