Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 15, 2026 · Last updated: October 16, 2026 · App: Gizmo Gunners: Robot Shooter (package com.charles.gizmogunners) · Developer: Hartmann Studios

This policy explains what information the Gizmo Gunners: Robot Shooter app ("Gizmo Gunners", "the game") uses, why, and the choices you have. Gizmo Gunners is published on Google Play by Hartmann Studios ("we", "us"). If you have questions, open an issue on GitHub.

The short version: Gizmo Gunners is an offline game. There is no account, and your progress and settings are stored only on your phone. The game contains no analytics SDK and we run no servers that receive data from it. The game shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects device information such as your advertising ID. Purchases go through Google Play; we never see your card details.

What is stored on your phone

  • Your game progress (missions completed, stars, best Survival wave, coins, gems, weapon upgrades, unlocked heroes and skins, daily mission and login-calendar state) and your settings (controls layout, aim assist, graphics, language, sound) are stored in the app's private storage on your phone.
  • Other apps cannot read the app's private storage. We do not receive any of it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows ads from Google AdMob: one banner on menu screens only (never during gameplay), a full-screen ad only after a mission ends (never mid-fight), and optional reward videos you choose to watch. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google:

  • your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
  • your IP address (which can indicate approximate, coarse location), device model, operating system and app information;
  • ad interactions (for example, ad views and taps) and diagnostic data about ad performance.

Google uses this information as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (on some devices: Settings → Google → Ads). You can also manage ad personalization at My Ad Center. Where required (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice later in the game's Settings. Buying Remove Ads turns off banners and full-screen ads; optional reward videos stay available if you want them.

Purchases (Google Play Billing)

Remove Ads, coin and gem packs and cosmetic hero skins are sold through Google Play Billing. Google processes your payment; we never receive your card number or billing details. Google provides the game with the purchase status (such as which item was bought and a purchase token) so the game can unlock it on your phone and restore it later. Google's handling of payment information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Payments Privacy Notice.

What we do not collect

  • We do not require or create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
  • The game contains no analytics SDK, and we run no servers that receive data from it.
  • Matches are against computer-controlled robots on your phone; there is no online play and no chat.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Support requests

Support is handled through GitHub Issues. Issues are public and hosted by GitHub under the GitHub privacy statement, so please don't include personal information or purchase details in an issue. We use what you post only to answer it, and you can ask us to delete an issue you opened.

This website

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. It uses no cookies, no analytics and no ads, and its fonts are served from the same site. GitHub may log technical information such as your IP address when you visit, as described in its privacy statement.

Security

Your progress stays in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. Communication between the game and Google's ad and billing services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Please keep your phone protected with a screen lock.

Data retention and deletion

  • Your progress and settings stay on your phone until you delete them.
  • Use Settings → Reset progress in the game, or uninstall the app, to delete everything the game stored. You can also clear its storage in Android Settings → Apps → Gizmo Gunners → Storage → Clear storage.
  • Because we never receive your game data, there is nothing on our side to delete. Purchases stay tied to your Google Play account and can be restored after you reinstall. Data collected by Google AdMob is retained by Google under its own policies.

More detail is on our data deletion page.

Children

Gizmo Gunners is rated for teens because of cartoon violence and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, open an issue on GitHub (without posting the information itself) and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
