Merch drop 3: a new tee, hoodie, mug and sticker in the Homelab the Right Way store
Four new items in the Homelab the Right Way merch store: the It's Not a Hobby, It's Infrastructure tee, the Backups: Tested, Not Hoped hoodie, the Rebooting: Human, Please Wait mug and the Homelab Certified sticker.

Four new designs landed in the Homelab the Right Way merch store today. Same rules as the first two drops: every item is built around a line a homelabber has actually said, printed or cut to order by Printful, and shipped from their facilities, so nothing is sitting in a warehouse waiting to sell out. Here is what each one is, and the joke behind it.
It's Not a Hobby, It's Infrastructure (tee)
It's Not a Hobby, It's Infrastructure Tee: a three-node cluster graph in teal with amber status LEDs, the four-line slogan, and a small "Highly available" tag along the bottom. The joke is the conversation every homelabber has had with someone who asked why there is a rack in the closet. Once the household Wi-Fi, the DNS, the camera feeds and the media library all run through it, it stopped being a hobby a long time ago.
Bella + Canvas 3001 unisex tee in Black, Navy, Dark Grey Heather and Forest. $27.50 to $45.50 depending on size.
Backups: Tested, Not Hoped (hoodie)
Backups: Tested, Not Hoped Hoodie: a drive icon with a check badge, "Backups: tested, not hoped" in big type, and underneath it the line that matters: "Restore day is not the day to find out." It is the whole of Never Lose Your Data in one sentence. A backup you have never restored is a guess, and the book spends a chapter on turning that guess into a scheduled test.
Gildan 18500 heavy blend hoodie in Black, Navy, Dark Heather and Forest Green. $47.50 to $64 depending on size.
Rebooting: Human, Please Wait (mug)
Rebooting: Human, Please Wait Mug: a power icon, "Rebooting" in block letters, an amber "Human, please wait" pill, and the fine print "Do not power off until coffee is done." The art is printed twice, once on each side of the handle, so it reads whichever hand you hold it in. It is the morning version of the update screen you are not supposed to interrupt.
White glossy mug in 11, 15 and 20 oz. $17 to $27.50.
Homelab Certified (sticker)
Homelab Certified Sticker: a navy hexagon badge with a teal outline, a tiny three-node cluster, and an amber ribbon that reads "Breaks things on purpose," with "Then writes it down" below it. That is the only certification that counts in a homelab: you broke it on a Saturday, you understood why, and the notes are in the wiki so next time takes five minutes instead of five hours.
Kiss-cut vinyl in 3 x 3, 4 x 4 and 5.5 x 5.5 inches; Printful adds the white kiss-cut border. $4.50 to $5.50.
Where everything lives
The store now carries 29 designs across tees, hoodies, hats, mugs, stickers, desk mats, a poster and a tote. The full list with product photos is on the merch page, and the store link is in the link tree. Sizes, colours and current prices are on each product page; the prices above are before shipping, which Printful calculates at checkout.
If you are new here, the books are where the slogans come from. Every one of them has a free sample chapter.
