Merch drop 4: a /24 tee, a snapshot hoodie, the first crewneck and a port cheat sheet mouse pad
Six new items in the Homelab the Right Way merch store: the Home Is Where the /24 Is tee, the Snapshot First, Ask Questions Later hoodie, the Powered by Coffee & Containers crewneck, the Decaf Is a Single Point of Failure mug, the Production: Do Not Touch sticker and a Port Cheat Sheet mouse pad.

Six new designs landed in the Homelab the Right Way merch store today, and two of them are product types the store has not carried before: a crewneck sweatshirt and a mouse pad. Same rules as the first three drops: every item is built around a line a homelabber has actually said, printed or cut to order by Printful and shipped from their facilities, so nothing sits in a warehouse. Here is what each one is, and the joke behind it.
Home Is Where the /24 Is (tee)
Home Is Where the /24 Is Tee: a house with an RJ45 jack where the front door should be, a link light on the wall, and the slogan in three lines with the "/24" in teal. The amber pill underneath reads "192.168.1.0/24 • 254 happy hosts", which is the honest size of most home networks and the reason the first VLAN chapter in Lock Down Your Home Network starts by counting what is already on it.
Bella + Canvas 3001 unisex tee in Black, Navy, Dark Grey Heather and Forest. $27.50 to $45.50 depending on size.
Snapshot First, Ask Questions Later (hoodie)
Snapshot First, Ask Questions Later Hoodie: a camera with a teal lens, the slogan in big type, and the fine print "Rollback is a feature, not an apology." A snapshot before an upgrade costs a few seconds and a little disk; the rollback after a bad upgrade costs nothing but a click. Homelab the Right Way spends a chapter on exactly that habit, and this is the wearable reminder.
Gildan 18500 heavy blend hoodie in Black, Navy, Dark Heather and Forest Green. $47.50 to $64 depending on size.
Powered by Coffee & Containers (crewneck)
Powered by Coffee & Containers Crewneck: a steaming mug next to a stack of three containers, the slogan in block letters, and a one-line shell prompt underneath: "docker compose up -d && brew". This is the first crewneck sweatshirt in the store, for the people who wanted the hoodie weight without the hood.
Gildan 18000 crewneck sweatshirt in Black, Navy, Dark Heather and Forest Green. $40 to $57 depending on size.
Decaf Is a Single Point of Failure (mug)
Decaf Is a Single Point of Failure Mug: an amber warning triangle and the one failure mode no amount of redundancy fixes. The art is printed twice, once on each side of the handle, so it reads in either hand.
White glossy mug in 11, 15 and 20 oz. $17 to $27.50.
Production: Do Not Touch (sticker)
Production: Do Not Touch Sticker: a round hazard-stripe badge in amber and navy, "Production, do not touch" in the middle, and the smallest line on it tells the truth: "It works. Nobody knows why." Every lab has one box like that. Label it.
Kiss-cut vinyl in 3 x 3, 4 x 4 and 5.5 x 5.5 inches; Printful adds the white kiss-cut border. $4.50 to $5.50.
Port Cheat Sheet (mouse pad)
Port Cheat Sheet Mouse Pad: 24 default ports you keep looking up, in three columns on a navy background: 22 SSH, 53 DNS, 80 and 443, 123 NTP, 445 SMB, 2049 NFS, 3389 RDP, 5900 VNC, 8006 Proxmox, 8123 Home Assistant, 51820 WireGuard, plus Portainer, Grafana, Prometheus, MQTT, Postgres, MySQL, Redis, Minecraft, Plex, Jellyfin, SNMP and the HTTP alternate. The footer says "Change the defaults. Write them down.", which is the two-part advice from the firewall chapters. It is the first mouse pad in the store, a smaller companion to the two desk mats.
9 x 7.5 inch mouse pad with a non-slip rubber base. $20.50.
Where everything lives
The store now carries 35 designs across tees, hoodies, a crewneck, hats, mugs, stickers, desk mats, a mouse pad, a poster and a tote. The full list with product photos is on the merch page, and the store link is in the link tree. Sizes, colours and current prices are on each product page; the prices above are before shipping, which Printful calculates at checkout.
If you are new here, the books are where the slogans come from. Every one of them has a free sample chapter.
