Your Right to Delete Your Data
In compliance with Google Play's User Data & Account Deletion Policy, Arcane Dark provides all users with straightforward methods to request permanent deletion of their account and any associated personal or game data stored on our servers.
Overview of Stored Data
- Solo Play: All solo campaigns, characters, conversation logs, and generated stories are processed and stored exclusively on your local device. Solo data is never uploaded to our servers. You can delete local campaigns directly inside the app or uninstall the application to remove 100% of local data.
- Multiplayer & Cloud Sync Accounts: If you created an account or signed in (via Google or Email/Password), we store your authentication identifier (UID), registered email address, and synced multiplayer character rosters in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore.
Option 1: In-App Immediate Deletion (Recommended)
If you have the Arcane Dark app installed on your Android device, you can delete your account instantly without waiting:
- Open the Arcane Dark app on your device.
- Tap the Settings icon (Réglages / Gear icon) in the bottom navigation bar.
- Under the Account section, locate your signed-in profile.
- Tap Delete Account & Cloud Data.
- Confirm the prompt. Your Firebase account and all synced characters will be permanently erased from our servers immediately.
Option 2: Web Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled)
If you uninstalled the application, lost your device, or prefer to request deletion via the web, you can submit your request using the form below or by emailing our data privacy team directly.

Data Retention & Processing Timeline
- Processing Time: In-app deletions take effect immediately. Web and email deletion requests are processed manually within 48 hours of verification.
- Data Types Permanently Deleted:
- Firebase Authentication record (email, password hash, UID, sign-in provider tokens).
- Cloud Firestore character profiles and metadata stored under
users/{uid}/characters. - Active multiplayer lobby memberships and session action queues.
- Data Retained: We do not retain any personal data following an account deletion. Anonymized crash diagnostics collected prior to deletion cannot be linked to any individual user or account and are retained only for aggregate stability metrics.
