About 2,100 wild and garden species, plus about 100 houseplants and garden plants.
The wild and garden species come from Google's AIY plant model. We trained our own model on top for about 100 popular houseplants and garden plants, the ones people actually have on their windowsill.
About 130 minerals, crystals, gemstones and rocks.
Point it at a find from the trail, the beach or a rock shop. Fieldkey suggests what it most likely is and shows the close lookalikes next to it.
About 22 US coin types, with the year and mint mark read from the photo.
Once it knows the coin type, Fieldkey reads the year and mint mark to flag silver content and well-known key dates, the coins worth a closer look.

Fieldkey identifies on the device. There's no account to make, no server that receives your pictures, and no analytics SDK counting your taps.
Every identification runs on your phone's own processor.

About ads in the free version. Free Fieldkey shows Google AdMob ads: banners on the collection, settings and result screens, an occasional full-screen ad after you save or share a result, and an optional video you can watch for an extra ID. Never on the camera or the upgrade screen. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location from your IP address, and ad interactions; where required, Google's consent form asks you first. Pro has no ads.

No, and it won't pretend to be. Every result shows how confident the model is and the next-best matches. When confidence is low, Fieldkey says "not sure, try another angle" instead of guessing. A clear, close photo in good light helps most.
No. Identification runs on your phone. Your photos never leave the device unless you share a find card yourself.
Not to identify. The models are inside the app, so it works offline, on a trail or in a field. The free version needs a connection to load ads, and purchases go through Google Play.
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your collection lives on your phone.
It shows general safety and toxicity information about the species it suggests. That is not medical or veterinary advice, and the identification itself can be wrong. Never eat a plant or mushroom based on an app. If a person or pet may have eaten something, contact a doctor, a vet or poison control.
Fieldkey reads the year and mint mark to flag silver content and well-known key dates, and shows values only as an estimated range. Condition, varieties and the market change real prices a lot, so check a dealer before you buy or sell.
