Google AIY Vision plant classifier Apache 2.0

Plants mode's wild and garden species (about 2,100) come from the plant classifier published by Google's AIY project, used under the Apache License 2.0.

Our own plant, rock and coin models

We trained our own models for about 100 houseplants and garden plants, about 130 minerals, crystals, gemstones and rocks, and about 22 US coin types. They were trained on openly licensed photos from:

iNaturalist contributors, photos under CC0 and CC BY;
Wikimedia Commons contributors, photos under CC0, public domain, CC BY and CC BY-SA.

Thank you to every photographer who shares their work openly.

Descriptions

Species, mineral and coin descriptions use text from Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0) and data from Wikidata (CC0).
