CruiseWatch: get alerted when your booked cruise fare drops

Booking a cruise is usually not the end of the price story. Fares keep moving after you pay your deposit, and many cruise lines will refund the difference or give onboard credit if the price drops before your final payment date. The catch: you have to notice the drop and ask before the window closes. CruiseWatch does the noticing.

What it does

  • Watches your booked cruise. Add your ship, sail date and cabin category, and CruiseWatch checks the public fare.
  • Covers five lines. Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess and Norwegian.
  • Instant push alerts. When a lower fare appears, you get the new price and how much you are owed.
  • Exact next steps. Each alert shows the cruise line's phone number, a ready-to-read script, and your claim deadline, based on that line's price-drop or "Best Price Guarantee" policy.
  • On-device AI refund assistant. Ask questions about a specific alert and get step-by-step help claiming a refund or onboard credit.
  • Wear OS companion. Installed automatically with the phone app, it shows price-drop alerts and your claim history on your watch.
  • Home screen widget. Check status at a glance.

How a claim works

The flow is short:

  1. Add each cruise you have already booked: ship, sail date and cabin category.
  2. Let CruiseWatch watch the public pricing.
  3. When an alert arrives, read the new price and the amount you are owed.
  4. Call the number shown in the alert, using the script provided.
  5. Do it before the claim deadline in the alert.

The script and deadline are the useful part. Policies differ by line, and the app pulls the steps from each line's own price-drop policy instead of leaving you to search for the terms.

Privacy

The AI refund assistant runs entirely on your device and works fully offline, and the listing states that your booking details never leave your phone when you use it.

Good to know

  • CruiseWatch is free to use with ads, and there is an optional ad-free monthly subscription.
  • It only works with cruises already booked on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, Princess or Norwegian.
  • CruiseWatch is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any cruise line.
  • Pricing and policy information is provided for reference only. Always confirm current terms directly with your cruise line before requesting a refund; a refund or credit is never guaranteed by the app.
  • Most lines only honor a drop before your final payment date, so add your cruise as soon as you book.
  • It is rated Everyone, in the Travel and Local category.

Is it for you?

  • You have a cruise booked with one of the five supported lines.
  • Your final payment date has not passed yet.
  • You would rather get a push alert than check fares by hand every week.
  • You want the phone number, script and deadline ready when a drop happens.
  • You wear a Wear OS watch and like alerts on your wrist.
