The Powered by Spite and YAML tee
The Powered by Spite and YAML tee from merch drop 7: a YAML card up top, the big words underneath, and a footer every compose file deserves. Colours, sizes and prices.

Some services stay up because they were built well. Others stay up because you refused to let them win. The Powered by Spite and YAML Tee is for the second kind, and for anyone who has lost an evening to one wrong space in a config file.
The design
A small YAML card sits up top with three keys: uptime: "mostly", fuel: spite and docs: later. Underneath, the big words: POWERED BY SPITE AND YAML. The footer is the rule that saves the most debugging time of any rule in self-hosting: indented with two spaces, always.
Colours, sizes and price
- Bella + Canvas 3001 unisex tee
- Black, Navy, Dark Grey Heather and Forest
- $27.50 to $45.50 depending on size, before shipping (Printful calculates shipping at checkout)
- Printed to order by Printful, so nothing sits in a warehouse
Why YAML gets its own shirt
Most of a modern homelab is described in YAML: compose files, Home Assistant packages, Ansible playbooks, Kubernetes manifests. YAML uses indentation as structure, so a key that is one space off quietly belongs to a different parent, or breaks the file. If your stacks are mostly Docker Compose, Containers Without the Chaos walks through one folder per stack with a reverse proxy as the only front door, and its free sample is the whole chapter "Anatomy of a compose.yaml".
Get it
The tee is in the merch store with the rest of drop 7 and every earlier design on the merch page.
